Leith FlagPupils from Leith Academy have handed in a petition to restore the Leith flag to the community after it went into abeyance in the 1920s, according to an article in The Scotsman on 9 June:

Leith looking to restore flag days

The drive to restore the flag was initiated by Alex Wilson, a local designer, and in conjunction with pupils from Leith Academy has approached the Deputy Lord Provost, (and local councillor) Rob Munn.  The formal request to ressurrect the flag will be made to the office of the Lord Lyon.

The LBA are fully supportive of this project, and it is hoped that local businesses can become involved.
