Winter / Christmas activity & DEMAOFB has continued to work in collaboration with DEMA on the Xmas and Winter plan. The updated proposal was presented at the Winter Marketing Campaign meeting on Tuesday. We have been obtaining costs for a radio advertising campaign to run alongside the activity.Costs for a special Xmas mini edition have also been obtained. Emails are going out to retailers asking for their ‘shopping list’ of activity, as well as asking them to notify us about special events around the official start of Edinburgh’s Christmas on 26 November. LeithThe first proof for the Leith Walk newsletter was circulated to the Leith Branding, Signage & Support Group at the start of the week. All feedback has now been received and a second proof will be sent around the group again shortly. We anticipate that this newsletter will go to print early next week for distribution towards the end of next week. EdinburghShopper.comTie have sent more retailer forms collected from retailers to be added to EdinburghShopper.com. These are in the process of being added.   The September mailer went out at the start of this week. EHlivingThe proofs for the Autumn/Winter 09 issue of EHliving have been circulated to the OFB group. Feedback will be collated next week so that the magazine can go to print in a week’s time. The magazine will be inserted into the Edinburgh Evening News and distributed widely throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians from the start of October.
