No additional monies were paid to Bilfinger Berger in order for the stalled tram works to re-commence on Princes Street according to tie, as reported in The Herald on 26 March:
The tie spokesman conceded that additional works had been identified, which would be paid for from the remaining contingency funds. Details of these additional works, and costs are still deemed to be 'commercially confidential' - a phrase which should have no place in a publicly-funded project.
