An FOI request for details of of complaints about the Edinburgh Tram project reveals that there have been 472 since 1 December 2008 according to an article in The Guardian on 1 April:

Response to FOI request reveals 472 complaints about Edinburgh Trams

Michael Traill who made the request using the whatdotheyknow website received this response from Mike Connelly.

What is particularly concerning is the admission that there was no formal recording of contacts prior to 1 December 2008, despite this being a legal requirement of the Code of Construction Practice and the Edinburgh Tram (Line One) Act. The LBA was instrumental in getting tie and the City of Edinburgh Council to comply with the legislation.
