2.5 Communications Regarding Noise

(a) The Contractor shall give seven days notice to local residents who may be adversely affected by noise from the proposed programme of work, providing a description of the work to be carried out, measures that will be taken to control noise or other disturbance, and the proposed hours of working.

(b) The Contractor shall provide the Nominated City Officer and City of Edinburgh Council Department of Environmental and Consumer Services with a list of contacts who will be responsible for investigating and resolving noise issues during the construction phase of the project.
